Soon we will be listing many resources that you can get in touch with to find out how you can be of help
Thank you for wanting to help others in the time of tragedy!
In order to help effectively you need to know what is appropriate and what is not. If you rush to the scene to try to help, you will be sent away or may unknowingly cause chaos or confusion or further injury to those involved. On these pages we will discuss some appropriate protocols for offering assistance. Those on the scene of a crisis do not have time to deal with explaining how people can help out. Medical and emergency personnel are in charge of the scene, so it is best to just sit back and wait until the crisis unfolds and needs are exposed. Then you will know how to more effectively help bring healing instead of harm to the situation.
We will discuss do’s and don’ts in trying to help out. We will list invaluable resources that you can access or contribute to. You will learn how to more effectively reach out to those impacted by the tragedy. So often people avoid those impacted because they don’t know what to say or how to help. You will find lots of helps so you can make a positive, lasting difference in people’s lives. We are revising this information, so please check back soon for the details.
